Q. What are your rates?
A. Please take a minute to let me know a little about your project. As I'm sure you understand, rates vary based on whether your project is for broadcast or not, for radio or television, and how long it will be used. Market size can be a factor, too.

I do my best to work within your budget. Hiring professional voiceover talent is less expensive than you probably think. Shoot me an email. Of course, there’s no obligation, and I promise I won’t take it personally if you don’t choose me. (But I’ll be thrilled if you do!) top

Q. How fast can you do this for me?
A. I'm a full-time actor-- no pesky "day job". So I can provide a quick turn around on most projects. How fast depends on how many other spots I’ve got on the schedule. VO emergency? I'll do my very best to help you out. top

Q. Why should I hire a VO pro (when I can get my receptionist/wife/daughter to do it for free?)
A. It takes a trained, professional actor to sound like a real person. Real “real people” sound like they’re reading. A good VO pro has the skills to lift the words off the page, sound natural, and truly reach your listeners with your message. Don’t forget: A bad spot is worse than no spot at all! People make fun of bad commercials all the time—make sure yours isn’t one of them. top

Q. Can you send me a custom demo?
A. Certainly! Just email your script to me and I'll record a little bit of it for you. If you like what you hear, we can go from there! If I'm not right for you, let me know and I'd be happy to recommend another voice to you! top

Q. I think I need a male voice. Can you help?
A. No problem! I work with an assortment of high-quality male VO talents who are available to voice your spot solo, or to do a 2-person scene with me. Let me know what you’re thinking and I’ll reply with some recommendations. top

Q. Can you fix my script?
A. Only if you ask! Otherwise I’ll assume it’s just the way you want it. You might want to read it aloud a couple of times, with feeling, before sending it to me. Can you read it out loud in 30 seconds or less without sounding like a chipmunk on speed? Then I probably can’t either… I can help you pare it down while strengthening your message for a small additional fee. top

Q. Can you add music and sound effects?
A. I have relationships with numerous audio pros who can produce your finished project very affordably. Request a no-obligation quote top

Q. What about revisions?
A. If you're unhappy with what you hear, or would like a different approach, I'm happy to re-record your script for you at no additional charge. Script revisions are charged at 50% of the original rate. Just ask for details for your project type.

Your satisfaction is always 100% guaranteed! Please help me help you by being a specific as possible about what you want, including phonetic pronunciations of any tricky names. top

Q. Are you available to work on retainer?
A. Absolutely! This is a great way to add a fresh voice to your mix without burdening your payroll. Retainer agreements can be arranged for imaging, IVR prompts, and more starting at just $250 a month. Small-market stations can also save money by buying spots and promos in bulk. Let’s talk! top

Q. How do I pay you?
A. After your audio has been delivered and you’re happy with it, you’ll receive an invoice via email from www.invoice.com. You can then pay by check (US dollars, US bank account) or use the convenient PayPal button found right on your invoice. top

Q. What do you look like?
A. Kinda like this. top

Q. How can I get started in VO?
A. Please see my resources page. top
